Features
Floor made from IFB
The floor is made by special, light weighted, firebricks.
That specific construction offers:
- Guarantees an even, smooth and durable surface of the kilns table (floor), which is necessary for firing large pieces of flat glass.
- Energy Saving - reduction in the power consumption through the use of materials of low thermal absorption
- Enhance of the linear (uniform) heating and cooling of the glass pieces, limitating so the cracking and breaking risks, while producing the best quality possible
- Extending kilns’ life cycle
Infrared Radiation
The kilns are equipped with an Infrared Radiation Heating System of the latest technology.
It ensures a linear and uniform temperature distribution, enhancing the production of high quality products, while making the firing of large flat surfaces easy.
Fast Cooling
The structure of the kiln is specially designed for the fast cooling function.
The internal height of the kiln is divided, allowing the opening of the kiln while at high temperatures, as the products are protected from direct contact with the cold air
A fast and effective cooling is achieved, offering bright colours and products of high quality.

Temperature Control
All fusing kilns are equipped with easy, practical to use, and advanced controllers.
The state of the art technology used guarantees safe firing and precise temperature control.
Controller features:
- 32 programms each with 32 segments
- Free segment programming
- Segment comprises of 1 heating / cooling ramp followed by a soak period
- Segment is programmed as target temperature and ramp rate (C or F per hour)
- Ramp rate from 1 to 999/hour and Full power
- Programs can be altered while firing
- Program pause while firing (dwell / soak during pause)
- Program advance facilities (Skip Segment)
- Keyboard Lock
- Delayed Start facility (up to 99 hours 59 mins)
- Power failure recovery
- Energy used display (even during running a program, it will display the energy used
up to this point)
- Set point display
- C / F operation
Optionaly, they can have the capability to be accessed and controlled remotely from your mobile, laptop or tablet.
Using 'MyKiln" portal site you can view and control your kiln in real time. You can Stop a firing or adjust programs, from anywhere in the world.
WiFi enabled controllers feature also a USB port that allows you to directly control it from a PC and it also allows us to apply updates and run diagnostics from distance
